Damn his girl cheated on him. No wonder Wlad fought the way that he did. His girl cheated on him, lmao.
Not just Wlad, any fighter who does that should be DQ'd. I think we as fans may have to start putting pressure on the boxing bodies to better separate the sport from wrestling...
I have to much faith in humanity to believe 73 people thought that crap was masterful the same 20 Klit trolls and all there alt accounts maybe
I'll say this - Wlad did a good/great job selling the clinch many times. I used to fight, but I have no honest idea where a referee is empowered to draw the line regarding clinching. I never clinched personally, if I was close, I was throwing shots and slipping. I'm a huge Wlad fan, but this fight was maddening. I don't know how he could defend himself. I had to watch the first Brewster fight to remind myself that this man knows how to fight and can take a punch.
Wlad could beat an old lady to death with a baseball bat and his ****** fans would talk about what a great victory it was.
Yes they would. A lot of his fans is all about race. And some of his fans have gay ***u*l feelings for WLad.
It Povetkins fault now????? WLad holds in every fight when someone gets inside. Wlad has no inside game and thats why Povetkin kept coming inside. WLad looked old and he knew Povetkin would slice his easy to cut face up so he tired Povetkin out by pushing his weight on him which is illegal. That is not boxing.
Fans dont like to push this on Emmanuel Steward, but it is he who is responsible for the jab and clinch fighter that Wlad became. It is Steward who took the whip out way to early and exhorted Wladimir to tear apart and KO Brewster early. To put it in horse racing terms, Steward started whipping his horse way to early and emptied his tank leaving his horse out to dry and be passed like it was standing still. To be left hobbling and running on fumes while Brewster with a full head of steam coming at Wladimir left a mental scar deep inside Wladimir's soul that can never be fixed. The result is the jab and clinch.
No he didn't deserve to be DQed because the ref allowed this to happen with only a single warning. Refs have almost always been very lenient on clinching. Otherwise Ruiz would never have even had a career after Tua. And no it wasn't masterful. It made for a safe, but boring fight. However this is how post Steward Vlad fights. I'm a Vlad fan, he has tons craft, but yeah I wish he would combine a little more of the offense he was once famous for into his fights. Especially when he is dominating and has his opponent completely demoralized mid fight.
