Im telling you guys, most big fighters lack defensive skills so they need to hold. They don't slip punches, block or slide to side. Its back straight up and hold. This isn't just Wlad but the majority of super sized heavyweights. Its a huge reason heavyweight boxing has gotten so boring.

yeah, but before those fights he was saying that he wasn't ready for lewis, and that he was working his way up.

lewis had just beaten tyson (which was before wlad had fought mercer) and was saying that that might be his last fight. he wasn't making any promises. all of a sudden, wlad now says he wants to fight him sooner rather than later. hmmm.

wlad probably thought that lewis wasn't going to fight again so called him out to save face.

by the time that wlad fought mccline, lewis was going to fight vitali, and wlad said that he would like to fight him but that his brother was going to win the fight. merchant then said that if lewis loses to vitali then wlad may never get to fight lewis himself. wlad just talked about his dream of him and vitali being champion at the same time.

the rest as they say is history.

lewis is my favorite fighter so i've seen that fight plenty of times. he doesn't grab at tyson at all. in the first round he ties him up when tyson rushes him, but then gets his timing from the second round on.

yes, lewis did lean on tyson and hit him with a body shot and tyson went down, but he was warned for this. it's not like wlad in the slightest. wlad does it all the time. over and over again. every fight.

He holds a lot, but it is legal, It is up to ref to warn him if he does it to point were he is not fighting, or refuses to let go quick enough. Ali held more than any champ in history, any division, and would refuse orders by ref to break. What Klitsckho does is nothing in comparison. ****, he still knocks these guys out, they might be lucky he holds.

LOL Mormeck is running into Wlad's chest head first. People who claim Wlad initiates all holding need to get their eyes checked :deal

In those two examples it's not Wlad but Mormeck who should have been warned by the ref.

You're right, boxers shouldn't be allowed to walk forward against Wlad. The referee should deduct a point if they don't tell the opponent to remain on the ropes with their hands down. Any aggressive behavior should not be allowed.

 I seen ALI in the 60"s . The decade where he feasted on worn out 200 pounders and his signature win was against a guy who was koed several times in his carreer and also had been recently shot and had a bullit lodged in him ! If you knew anything about boxing history you close your cakewhole dip**** .:deal

Better watch it again without your fanboy glasses on then. Lewis held and pushed down on Tyson all night to wear him out. He got docked a point even for leaning on Mike and making him fall to the floor.

Walking forward? Or using one's head as a ramrod running into your opponents chest?

    Are you blind? :deal
