What do you think? Would Klitschko been able to finish what he started in hindsight since we now know without doubt that he is the heavyweight Amir Khan?

I said while back that I believed a 45 year old Vitali would have enough left about him to avenge his brother and put AJ to sleep.

Many said he wouldn't be able to take AJ's power, yet we saw how overrated it was against Ruiz. Vitali's ATG iron chin would not have flinched and would surely have broken him down in a more devastating fashion.

Vitali was renowned for ending careers with thudding temple shots. I have little doubt even at 47 he is still capable of coming out of his slumber and putting on a violent beating on Joshua for the disrespect he showed towards him, when he tried to act the tough wannabe gangster rude boy act when he had security in front of him

The usual approach with the Ks is the brother avenges a loss to a middler, but it wasnt an option with joshua being fairly dangerous and prime, forget vits being too old.

Maybe. Wlad is much slower than he used to be though. Just a fraction more speed and he'd have finished it the first time round any number of times.

I remember Fighters saying that in every Klitchscko fight contract it stated that if you beat one brother then you were contractually obligated to fight the other.. so basically in their primes you had to beat them a total of at three times

    @HerolGee
Herol Graham couldn't even avenge his loss to a Bum in Frank Grant. & Amir Khan was terrified to have a rematch with the colombian taxi driver Breidis Prescott &the ACTUAL 'middler' Lamont Peterson lol

No both brothers were too old. Wlad looked slow as hell in that fight. The two times Joshua turned up the heat he got the knockdown.

Ruiz beat Joshua with his fast hand speed and solid chin.

Emphatic no. He looked shockingly slow against Jennings. Even slower against Fury. And practically a shell of himself against Joshua.
All the respect in the world to him for giving Joshua a helluva fight but he had Joshua right where we wanted him but his eroded skills betrayed him.

welcome back alt, and just to let u know I'm not actually Herol Graham or Khan, but it continues to amuse me that you think so, so thanks for being you.

let me know why you think I am wrong to assume the K bros are too old for boxing, if you want to counter my post.

Na. Wlad could not do anymore than he could have. Wlad is not ruiz, he would not throw 20 punches if he hurt Joshua because he would be gassed himself.

Maybe pre-steward Wlad ? Yeah. But Ruiz has t-Rex arms and is lightening quick. Wlads long limbs wouldn’t work.

Vitali is well past it and would get stopped. He never beat anyone as good as Joshua in his prime never mind at 47

    State where I said this.
I'm sure everybody is aware even Herol Graham wouldn't be so pathetic as to waste all day every day of their lives trolling threads about the Klitschkos and Calzaghe.

You replied to this thread in 18 minutes after the thread was posted which is actually quite slow for you on a Klitschko thread! Which says it all!

At least they didn’t run away from their brothers like some members.

Vitali beat Saunders, Peters and was beating Bryd and Lewis until freak stoppages resulted.

All of those opponents would have beaten Joshua into a pulp.

Today Vitali would still have enough power (which is the last thing to eave a fighter) to put AJ to sleep.

He's even tougher as a result of the Ukrainian civil war that he has been on the forefront of.

Vitali was an arm puncher? I don’t understand the power bit. He had like 25% more power than fury. Most of his stoppages were mercy TKOs.

Power is the last thing to leave a fighter when it’s the right power. Foreman clubbing power can last well past prime. Wilder fast twitch, long limb power will decline rapidly. Vitali was neither.

I’m not disputing he was tough, but he quit against Byrd.

Vitali beat Saunders the middleweight? Aaah you mean his back and forth battle with a semi retired fat golfer sanders. Where he was dropped an stunned multiple times, and it was an arm punch stoppage. Vitali couldnt even drop sanders who was gassed, hands down and walking face first into vitalis punches.

    Peter ? Come on.
