aj needs a confidence booster after what Dubois did to him. aj still has the fire in his eyes and he's deadset on fighting the best regardless. That's a warrior right there. Sure his IQ is equivalent to the temperature of a winter night, no gas tank, 0 chin, but he's still a glass chinned warrior at the end of the day. Bakole and Zhang would make excellent challenges for aj, if he can somehow get past them he can finally get that Dubois rematch he's been waiting for !!! Let's get these fights made, I know aj has at least 2 more KO losses left in him

I think the effect of these fights would be the opposite of confidence boosting

But isn't aj a top 3 heavyweight ? Thats what everyone told me. Shouldn't he be the favorite in these fights ?

Hell no. AJ shouldn’t go anywhere near big punchers.
If Fury loses to Usyk again AJ should finish his career with one or two fights against him.

Joshua needs to stay away from Bakole and Zhang, Hrgovic's confidence has fallen apart and he would be an ideal opponent for Joshua...

Please not. It would mean suffering another KO or TKO by round 6 for AJ. Tbf i think he is wise enough picking the next opponent. Whyte or Chisora would be a great pick. On AJ"s level and an all british bout.

AJ is done as a candidate for any belt- i still have a lot of hope for a Wilder fight. Just for the sake of it. Financially it would make sense for both parties involved; and i dare to bet many of us would still love to see it happen.

AJ easily could KO Bakole and Zhang with his talent but I really don't know if he can mentally go through that kind of possible war. When someone hits him hard early these days, he just folds and really struggles to get a rhythm together. Against Dubois - I got the feeling AJ really wasn't mentally ready for a someone to go in there with no respect which is what Dubois did. And we saw just how much AJ folded there.

I think AJ will probably chase the Whyte fight next, Whyte isn't great, hes shot, he can hit but hes slow and predictable and AJ has beaten him convincingly before.

Wilder? This should have happened a long time ago in 2018. Both are probably shot, well Wilder certainly is shot enough. I think AJ would pressure and bully him early into a quick KO, but if Wilder can turn the clock back physically and mentally, AJ will go to sleep.

Thing is, from an entertainment point of view and for snatching momentum, the Zhang fight was perfect for AJ.
Also Zhang was in the sweet spot for AJ's more dangerous opponents, around 40 years old and AJ had already beaten him.
There was absolutely no reason for them to avoid Zhang after he KO'd Joyce except that they were TERRIFIED.
Seeing Parker and Wilder get dropped/KO'd only gave them more shivers.

The Chinese ogre KO'ing Joyce Wilder and AJ would be so funny. But sadly it looks like he won't get the trifecta.

Probably the funniest outcome though would be if AJ finally did fight a shot Wilder and still got KO'd. That would mean he'd ducked Wilder for years to avoid that fate and protect his fake reputation but then in the end suffered the same defeat but for far less money and against a shot version. That's probably why it never happens now though. In a way the risk is even greater now.

They'll just target the Fury cash-out double or trilogy I think. Less chance of getting KO'd too, a points loss is much easier to handle. They want Uysk to KO Fury so he has little punch resistance left.

AJ should fight Wilder, Chisora, Whyte, or Wardley.

    All those fights would sell.
