So I'm sparring today with a guy who's much better than me. I just staggered him with a straight left, so I've got a big ****in' hardon as I go in. I go to follow with a 1-2, and as I come in with the left (I'm a southpaw), he comes in with a straight right, his arm hits my arm... and POP my shoulder flies out. Took me a while to get it back in. So my question is, who's got shoulder issues? My shoulder has been screwed up for a long time, and this is the first time it popped out, although it nearly did a couple times before. How do you remedy them? Any rotator cuff exercises to help? How's it worked out? I like keeping my damn arm on my body... that **** hurt, and I know once you do it once, you're more susceptible to it. This only tends to happen when I'm sparring... no problems with either heavy bag or mitts. Stories? Advice?
If i was you id consult a physician. Rotator cuff injuries are NO JOKE. They can end a career depending on the severity. But they also need professional rehab advice and tons of rest.
