Ok so many people are accusing Pacquaio of steroids use. Whether he is a user or not there are many steroids/PED users in boxing like:

Shannon Briggs (obvious but never caught),
    Golota (very likely),
    Holyfield (likely),
    Vitali (caught),
Mosley (not caught by drugs tests but admitted to use)
And so on and so on

An athlete can easily get away with year round steroid use to gain an advantage and cutting use pre-fight and not getting caught. Year round random testing would stop this. It should happen for the good of the sport

I agree, I'm not suspicious of any boxers using steroids, BUT you never know.

Wont help if the drugs there using aren't tested for or detectable.

It can't be implemented. There is no "boxing league" to go around testing fighters year round. Even if there was, we'd just see people retiring, coming back, etc.
Steroids and most PEDs are already illegal. Ideally, the police would be catching these people. Of course, the cops have better things to do like harassing minorities, faking disability claims, and eating doughnuts.

I'd like to see these drug cheats busted, but it's not likely to happen.
Oh and Golota is "very likely", but Holyfield is only "likely"? WTF! Upgrade that cheating headbutter to "obvious but never caught" except he was caught.

You're glad that you're not the only idiot? The world is full of them. Steroids do not improve boxing skills, guys caught for steroids didn't even do better on them. Pac is getting better at boxing.

imo this steroid thing is getting out of control...i bet is sucks being on top in america. as soon as you get there people come out the woodwork to tear you back down. i agree w/ masterflo how the hell can roids get you better at boxing? this isn't football or trackfield... you need to be able to thro those hands not just make the weight with solid muscle and 0% body fat lol

Anyone who think steroids or performance enhancing drugs can't help a boxer is eithet ignorant or in denial.

These drugs not only make you stronger, they help you recover so you can train harder. The harder you train, the better you are. It's an advantage over someone who does not use them.

we can talk about mandatory testing when boxing evolves a central organization.

again imo non of these fighters (IF they were on something ) had any clear advantage that i can tell. they looked like everyone else when they were active if not worst lmao
Shannon Briggs (obvious but never caught),
    Golota (very likely),
    Holyfield (likely),
    Vitali (caught),
Mosley (not caught by drugs tests but admitted to use)
And so on and so on

also imo you can train your ass off ,take roids or whatever but the most skilled boxer of the night is stepping out of the ring the winner. as long as its not a close decision and some sorry ass judges are judging that night.

    Of course roids gives advantages.

I'm not saying Pac took them, but as an example, if indeed he did do the roids to train for Cotto, then it made him bigger, stronger, and had the unfair advantage in training because he was able to train harder and longer without the wear and tear Cotto suffered.

Yes but it will be hard to regulate because there is no National Boxing Athletic Commission. Every state have their own.
