Shouldn't Ward be grateful to Goossen for home advantage in all his Super Six fights?

If Haymon struggles, then all of boxing struggles.

When Mayweather retires he will then devote more of his time to Mayweather Promotions and Al Haymon will be a key part of that.

Al Haymon is here to stay and that's all good for boxing.:yep

1 month until Ward will be removed from all credible rankings.

    :good

He had a good career, should have been more active towards the end. Not sure he gets in the Hall of Fame with only 27 fights though.

    Good riddance.

Since he needs to resort to dirty tactics like head butts & clamping his opponents' arms, and to use crooked referees that permit him to foul, the sport of boxing is better off without him.

Goossen is very sick, reportedly in "critical condition".

I wonder if the stress of his his court battles with Ward made his condition worse.

I personally believe ward would have won regardless of where the continent the contracts dictated he fight. He was a complete fighter then, he showed it by utterly dominating the field, probably only losing a handful of rounds during the tournament, if that many, and winning so comprehensively does not reflect a home turf advantage in my opinion. it reflects all-around ability.

    R.I.P Dan Goossen

I've always considered him to be a more honest, decent promoter than most of the others. Dan Goossen was a Christian.

Andre Ward's manager James Prince is a scumbag though.

Lets be honest here. Goosen didnt fake cancer for attention, and taking shots and accusing someone of making it intentionally worse is as about as low as you can go.

How many years has it been and you're still mad?

Dre manhandled Kessler and then Froch.

You should accept it and move on.

It would cause you less pain that way.

    Really.
