Of course he should. But instead he got a nice deal out of it with him getting the "in recess" mark, and one of his friends (who he doesn't want to fight) a easy fight for the "real" WBC title. :-(
Ward has too many friends. Bute and Johnson were becoming friends before they fought eachother. That didn't stop them. Who is left at 168 for Ward if he doesn't want to fight Bute and the Dirrell brothers?
Ward is really killing his own ability to be a star He won the Super 6 in December and since then has been on a milk carton the longer he stays disappeared the more and more his stock goes down now he just gave up a belt and fractured the title the whole goal of the Super 6 was to unify 2 of the titles If Froch won the Super 6 he most certainly would have stayed hungry fought all comers and not given up his belt Ward is really becoming a disappointment
I don't know why but I've a feeling that is a conspiracy against Bute , who's not from usa , but he's the cash cow at smw and the big star . Anyway I'm glad that these 2 guys ( ward and dirrell ) can't draw **** even in their hometowns ! If Ward will ask Bute to fight with Anthony to "earn another shot" thats blatantly ducking !!!
