**Show me a 28 year old with a better resume than Cotto?**

    Not as good as Paul Williams: Margarito (won, Cotto lost), Winky Wright (shutout a guy who beat Mosley), Phillips, Quintana, Mitchell. Plus Williams is avoided Cotto is not

    Please even now, PW resume don't stack up...WW at 28 was fighting in Europe becuase no one wanted to fight him...his resume got imporve way on his 30's

    Winky whipped Mosley who beat Cotto past his prime and still got robbed, Margo whipped Cotto. Those 2 wins turn Cotto's resume to mush

    what?///please///WW was shut...PW wins over MARGO was as conroversial as Cotto v/ Mosley..so whats your point


    BTW, Cotto never been involved in any problems for violation of the rules:

    Margo- fighting with a hardening substance on his wraps....please....

    Williams won 8-9 rounds against Margo, start a poll and see how many people had Margo winning, he wasnt in the fight

    Winky was as far past prime as Mosley, PW dominated Winky, Cotto lost to Mosley, big difference

    This is one of the things that concerns me about Cotto: His age.
    He's been in some major battles and I fear he may burn out b4 he should. Like Morales did.

    And that is the problem. He gets frozen out of the division by Bob Arum, and now fans don;t even count him there anymore.

    Cotto has a great resume at 147, but until he fights them man who has been begging to fight him for two years now, he cannot be considered the #1 Welterweight.
