I don't know what you're aiming at (the guy who started this thread)

but at the age of 28, Tito had retired, became a 5-time champion, fought 14 or more champions, and had 20 title fights.

9-10 yrs in the game Tito was already a p4p champion, had fought the likes of Whitaker, DLH, Camacho, Vargas, Reid, Joppy, and Hopkins.

he also unified titles at 147 and 154 and had a failed attempt at 160.

What Cotto is doing is good but its nothing compareable to a great fighter.

he suffered his first loss (and despite the excuses) to a guy who had 5 L's on his resume.

    No he hasn't.

Until he stops ducking PW, he cannot lay claim to this.

You can say the same for everyone except Margarito.

I blame Arum more so than Cotto. But Cotto really needs to buy himself out like Floyd did.

You're right, And I do say the same.

Clottey is the only Welter right now who said he is willing to fight him. The only one.

    Yup.

Although Cotto has fought Margo, Clottey, Mosley what could be 3 of the top 5.

At 140 though he fought good people but did not fight the best. Mayweather, Hatton, Zoo. I wonder how Cotto would of done against Gatti at 140 considering most considered Cotto to be a drained version of himself at 140.

WTF! can you tell me who cotto ca fight who is 'great' please. Mosley aint great? HE'S CURRENTLY RANKED NUMBER 4 P4P! His physical attributes have given him a tough ride and he's still winning. Do you want him to fight kelly pavlik maybe?

Sharmba Mitchell is a great win now ? lmao. He beat grandpa wright and grandpa verno and he lost to quintana (who cotto beat) he is also 6 foot 1. Good fighter but his resume atm is still ordinary.

On top of that, beside the 1st Castillo fight. How many times was Cotto close to losing unlike Mayweather.

Cotto isn't even close to Mayweathers resume.
