Saturday night's undercard was probably the best, as a whole, I've seen on a PPV since the Don King days. Even with the predictable main event, I still felt like I got my money's worth as a boxing fan.

Love/Rosada. Hell of a fight. You can score that 6-4 for either guy and have a legitimate card. The puncher wore down the boxer and landed the harder shots, but the boxer put on an impressive display of skills and heart as well.

Santa Cruz/Munoz. A barnburner while it lasted. Santa Cruz is easily one of my favorite up and comers. He brings it every single fight and seems like a great guy. Munoz gave it everything he had before the justified stoppage.

Marer/PDL. I set up a poll last Friday and nobody predicted Mares KO/TKO in earnest. The fight was stopped a bit soon, but featured the best boxing Mares has displayed in his young career, and some devastating punches landed by both men.

I was in a half filled movie theater and fans were oohing and ahhing throughout the undercards. If this is the type of card Mayweather Promotions is going to put on, they will get more of my money.

Yeah big ups to GBP and Mayweather Promotions. Great card top to bottom. That Love Rosado fight was very entertaining.

yeah man, this was the best undercard I've seen in a long long time. Margarito/Cotto II's undercard was nice too

I missed the 1st fight but the undercard was great. I turned to my brother and said "This is going to be the best fight of the night" for Mares/Ponce.

I would love to see them rematch. I'm sure I'm not alone.

They also showed the Badou Jack and Luis Arias fights which was cool. I had a great time and felt it was well worth it.
