    Laugh at your stupidity.

Showtime makes 100s of millions every single month when their subscribers pay. Then they make 100s of millions more when companies pay to advertise their products.
Adding exclusive Mayweather fights is something you fail to comprehend called, Network content.
Content that is not available to HBO or any other network.

The $30M/fight Showtime pays to Mayweather is a drop in the bucket relative to the annual and monthly paying subscribers and money made from corporate advertisement Showtime will gain from having this exclusive content.

    Damn you are dumb! :patsch

Mayweather had exactly two fights reach the 1.5M number before signing with Showtime, and only one of those was as an A side. Pacquiao has never reached 1.5M buys

In other words, you have zero response.

By the way, I'm going through contract negotiations currently. I work with contracts as I have SLA and MSA agreements for my various sites. You clearly don't know ****.

How does it feel to be a liar with zero integrity by the way? You're honestly a piece of **** and a waste of space. Please do not have any children. Trolls and idiots like you are a detriment to civilization.

Victors a puppet, yesterday the clown said the gate was 50 million and then edited to 20 when I called him out on it. The math is simple on this 1.5 x 70 bucks is 105, add 20 from the gate and a few more From sponsors. That's around 130, half of that is 65 since cable takes half. Show me how that event makes money when the fighters ate up clse to 40 mil. 25 million is not enough to cover an event of that magnitude.

I never edited it because of you. But keep telling yourself that. It's called typing 100+ wpm and catching a mistake. The post was edited before you responded as well jackass.

Fact is: you guys are trying to call Showtime liars and pretending your made up figures are the truth. Hilariously obtuse.

Sweetsciguru you are honestly ******ed, what exclusive content? It's ppv, anyone can view it if they pay, not just showtime subscribers. Holy god you're slow.

Wow another thread about nothing.. This is like the 5th one I've seen about something we no nothing about.. I'm not interested in a billion dollar company's money but, 1.5 every fight to make 0 dollars sounds ridicules.. That means to really get their money's worth they need about 2 mill a fight.. The record is 2.4 and 2.2 so that sounds stupid...

The Showtime is not paying the promoter or any other fighter besides Mayweather. The promoter will pay the other fighters. The promoter pays for most of the advertisement as well. You also have to remember that there is a ton of money coming in from ticket sales, broadcasting righs, and sponsorship deals.

They are stupid. It's hilarious how idiotic these guys are. I don't know whether to absolutely despise them, or feel sorry for them. That's how stupid these guys are.

Victor I'm not even saying it needs 1.5 but look at the math. Now imagine if it just does a million?

That's probably closer to the true break even point. If you take Espinoza's word that 1.1-1.3 million is "untrue" and take his comment about 900k to break even for Guerrero, you can figure the true number is probably around 1 million buys.

1 million and 1.5 million... that's a 50% increase in needed sales. The projections by boxing_idiot are way off. Mayweather averaged 1.4 million buys for 6 fights before his contract with Showtime, so they sign him knowing they need more than his average sales to break even?

Honestly....... that makes ZERO sense. Is Showtime ******ed? Of course not... but we know boxing_idiot is.
