    It's a shame someone had to lose that fight. Both these guys deserve a lot of credit for the show they put on tonight.

    Mares is elated, Vic's still in shock. Can't say I expected anything different with the way that war went!

    Yeah, it totally sullies an otherwise euphoric aftermath for the fans.

    Even if you feel you won, or that the officiating was unfair...keep it to yourself, and don't embarrass yourself on an international stage with a full interview's worth of incessant whining! :-(

    He did have a point theres nothing in the rules that says u cant hold ur hand out to measure a punch if Mares leans into it it's not Vics fault, Tzyu use to do the same thing with success to time his right.

    The referee was equally bad for both of them. There was nothing to complain about for either fighter when you consider that.

    Talking to him on the phone (after calling in to the OTR radio show when he was a guest) and having him respond to my questions was so surreal. It's not really in my nature to get starstruck, but I definitely was reduced to a gibbering fanboy in that moment. :yep
