Great fight by Mares. After 3 disasters with the cut, KD and deducted point, it shows his heart that he still dug out the W.

I know i do think Mres edged it with more combos but a lot of the times the ref should of just stfu and let them do there thing instead of trying to tounge kiss both guys ears in the middle of battle

No, but you can be linked to the show's archives in the sticky thread at the very top of the page.

Hopkins might have been on more than once, but it would be the first time he was a guest (I think). :good

I would be also. He's such a presence when he speaks and you gotta love the amount of thought that goes into every word he selects....

I think Mares and Darchinyan both showed A LOT tonight. I had it 113-113, but I thing it was a decision that could be justified. Great fight.

Yep. The referee was leaned in all night just waiting for his opportunity to split them up and give them warnings.

    Round 1

Perez pushes in with jabs and hooks. Agbeko tosses a jab and low right hand to the body of the oncoming Colombian. Perez jabs and flurries with quick steps inside. Agbeko double-jabs and tries to corkscrew a hook through but gets blocked. Perez is picking off lots of Agbeko jabs while firing his own down the middle. Agbeko rips a few body shots to either side. Perez lands a jab and blocks a few from Agbeko. Perez eats a left hook - Agbeko's best punch of the round.

    10-9 Perez
