    Darchinyan is landing the jab and left hand off the back foot. Mares is coming at him straight, trying to get in close and rip some body punches off. He is warned for low blows. Mares eats a short right hook. Darchinyan lands the same again on the turn. The left side of Mares' head is getting thumped every time he takes a step toward Vic. Mares thrusts out his jab and Darchinyan hops out of the way. Vic is actually showing some good defense and avoiding most of Mares' power punches. Mares does get a reaching jab into Vic's nose. Darchinyan ducks a big right hand. Mares is gushing blood. He marches inside with some wide swings and they get into a clinch. Darchinyan lands a hard 1-2 while Mares is ducking and exposing the top of his head.

    Mares looks bad. He needs to jab on the way in because Vic is countering well and would hurt him if he just comes in.
