    Big jab and left uppercut by Vic. Mares keeps coming forward with his elbows stuck out high at his shoulders. Good steady body punches by Mares. Darchinyan skips out of the way of a 1-2. Darchinyan pushes his stiff left arm out brings an overhand right crashing into Mares. Darchinyan is dancing on his toes, changing directions, and keeping Mares thinking. Mares catches Darchinyan with a big right hand. Darchinyan skates along the ropes and backs Mares off with a jab. HUGE left uppercut by Darch to get out of the corner. Mares lands a nice left hook. BIG left hand by Darchinyan and Mares lands a big right at the same time!!! Step-in right hook by Vic.

    The fight is getting very interesting now. Darchininan is using his experience, movement, and countering very well, but he's open when he moves back. Mares landed some good punches too.

    Vic is up but Mares coming on strong... halfway through those body shots are tearing him up.. Mares desreves this fight would lvoe to see him pull it out.. showing a lot of heart

    Mares chases Vic across the ring and lands huge body blows. Mares wings a huge overhand right as Darchinyan hides in the corner. Mares continues to batter Vic until the Armenian lands a big counter left hand. Mares is walking in with big left hooks. Darchinyan explodes off the ropes with a big left. Mares throws a jab and then feints with the right cross before leaping in and planting a left hook on Vic's face. Mares clubs away with his right. HUGE upward lead left by Darchinyan.
