    This is a very interesting fight. Mares is more active and scoring more regularly, but Darchinyan is doing some great counter-work.

    Darchinyan circles and pot shots from the outside. Mares keeps walking him down. Big left uppercut by Darchinyan. The right jab and left uppercut are Vic's bread and butter this round. Mares lands a couple of glancing right leads. Mares falls short with a couple of rights to the body, and has some higher ones ducked.
