100% agree. :good. And if he wins, Gamboa should be next. If he can deal with MArquez skills and experience, then he will be as ready as he is ever going to be for Gamboa

Eden has already lost six times at 21 years old.

    Marvin was just recently stopped.

Judah being stopped was his own fault. His machismo made him want to get up immediately while he had no legs and his bell just got rung proper. He jumped up, looked at Nady, legs locked up, earth's gravitational pull shuffled beneath him, and the rest is history. Should Nady continued his count?
Eh...maybe. On the fence with that one.

Damn, missed these fights working in the yard.. good news I just got home with an awesome grilled chicken from the Bora Bora taco truck down the street.. mexican dude was out grilling them and the smoke and smell was intoxicating. Rice, fresh tortillas, escabeche, chicken..

    Now to grab a beer.

Also, IB calling it a "Hooker Cut" is classic.

Actually JuanMa has been down once before. It was earlier in his career against a guy whose name I can't recall.

Perception is everything. In that last knock down Concepcion was already trying to run side-backwards because he was really hurt and JM chased him down and clubbed him with a straight left, with a slight forearm at the end of it. Concepcion fell down pretty dramatically and laid there for a second as if he was out. The problem came when attempted to get up slowly and looked like a guy who drank two bottles of whiskey. He first tried to use the rope with his left hand to help him self up but could not find it, he then stumbled over and the ref called the fight. He eventually got to his feet and looked like he would of fell forward again if the ref had not been holding him. I would consider this a good judgment call by the ref.

And power. Marquez got power also! Even at 126 he can hurt them.

The new and improved Ponce De Leon would easily outpoint Concepcion, or stop him late. It would look a lot like the Lock fight (Bernabe is not better than Cornelius). :deal

As for the knockdown of Lopez, he was in the middle of torquing his upper body and flailing his arms in the middle of a combination. The hook landed flush and knocked him off his feet, but it wasn't an indicator of poor chin so much as it took his balance away. It was a hard shot, don't get me wrong - but landing at the right moment had a lot to do with why Lopez went down.
