I agree with almost all of this post. I just feel the ref could've counted to 8 to give him a chance to get up or recover. If I'm not mistaken, he stopped after 5?

Can someone from the hood explain this "You Mad" phenomenon to me? Is there a reason for flaunting complete sentence structure and eschewing a predicate? Is it all that much trouble to throw in the linking verb "are" and maybe some punctuation?
