Hurd is pressuring the smaller man, fishing with the long single left jab and reaching in with some rights, but not selling out to come all the way inside, pinning his forearms together and hitting the brakes a pace off. Lara is pushing the southpaw jab into the guard and sliding his left arm like a tendril around Hurd's waist. Lara nullifying combat at close-quarters, landing quick 1-2s at mid-range on his way out, and then continuing to set a methodical pace on the outside by pushing the right jab.

Lara is not moving too much while being effective and that's good for him.

 

She always looks high. Like these junkie chicks here in So Cal. Its an unattractive look.

Lara is dialing in the lefty 1-2 and not spiraling too far away from Hurd, staying low, managing to slip Hurd's jab by simply dropping his shoulders a couple of inches and letting the head sink in between them, protected by the raised earmuffs. Lara is standing in front of Hurd, blocking all his short chopping rights. Lara fighting more like James Toney right now than his classic self. Lara countering sharply with the 1-2. Hurd is pushing the jab into the waiting parrying right glove of Lara, and then lightly flapping hooks on the waistband as he walks Lara into the corner, briefly. Hurd draping himself over Lara, vainly attempting to impose himself and physically smother Lara. Nice left hand lead by Lara. Hurd eats an uppercut.
