He didn't have to, different type of pace. He only fights like this when he's forced to (it's been demonstrated before, just very rarely). Guarantee you that if he'd hurt Hurd in any of these rounds, he'd have let him off the hook rather than tried to put his foot down and close the show.

I don't know if he's the "real deal" in terms of his future. But if he can consistently make 154, he's the real deal. The difference between Hurd and the other weight bullies, is this guy has an endless motor.
