Two good fights. Green is in with someone who might be able to land a shot on him so don't blink in that fight. That is an either or fight. Green should win, but Oganov can't be counted out. Smith-Crawford will pit two capable boxers with average power. Could turn into a war though. I got Crawford in this one.

Oganov is out. Tarvis Simms is in. And Crawford will not beat Smith.

My cable has it listed as "Taylor vs. Froch" starting at 11pm. :blood

I had to check the ESPN Boxing Calendar just to verify that Green-Simms is actually televised.

Allan Green is a waste of space. He claimed Pavlik is ducking him because KP is going to defend his titles instead of fighting Green at a catch weight. Called out Bute on national TV, then said he wanted Froch cause Froch would be easier . . . . blah . . . blah . . . blah. I was going to list all the big fights Green has screwed up, but there were so many I can't even remember them all. Pavlik X 2, Bute, Froch, and 3 or 4 others!

I remember green pulling out of an espn fight by not even bothering to show up for the weigh in.

& espn loved him at the time.

He was probably just mad because the fight prior, Teddy was ripping him up for looking at his feet.

Hooking up with leon has really sent his career into overdrive.

It's actually a triple-header. Marcus Johnson (17-0 14 KO's, Super Middleweight) fights in the opening bout.

Is Simms any threat to Green at this stage?

Probably not especially considering he's a late replacement.
