Ah, well, still, his native language and nationality is Romanian, so his real name is Ciocan, not Hammer. That would be like saying the heavyweight that went 3-2 against Tyson & Bowe is named "Evander 圣地 (pronounced Shèngdì)", just because those characters happen to be "Holy Field" translated into Mandarin...

If you want to say Christian Hammer, you have to be okay with "Evander Shèngdì". :sisi1

3-1 Ortiz. Hammer is playing possum. Trying to draw Ortiz into to counter. Having some success.

Surprised Hammer's counter right is landing so well, and surprised at the velocity he's putting on it.

    Round 4

Ciocan is jabbing into a corner and NAILED with a left uppercut on the chin. His legs turn momentarily into jelly but he recovers and smiles again. Counter right by Ciocan, grazing. Ortiz landing plenty of jabs, probably the most either man is landing of anything, despite the commentators saying earlier that Ortiz typically connects a very low percentage of jabs, using it just to set up his power. Both are throwing eye-catching bombs to head and body in ones and twos, but the Ortiz jab is carrying the day and landing the cleanest.

    10-9 Ortiz

    40-36 Ortiz

Ortiz is trying too much for the knockout and it's not looking good on him.

Could be a problem for Ortiz if this gets to deep water.

I've stopped scoring. It's a shutout unless Hammer scores a knockdown.
