4-1 Ortiz. Ortiz needs to be careful here. Winning the rounds, but Hammer is a durable lump, Ortiz is taking a few counter right hands.

Ortiz's head never moves, which is why he keeps eating those rights. Ortiz's trainer two rounds ago was telling Ortiz to move off the line, but Ortiz won't do it.

    Round 5

Ortiz is landing his jabs, and occasionally launching big left hands up top, bloodying Ciocan's nose. Ciocan is countering with right hands and left hooks as he is backed into the corners and then awaits his chance to ambush. Ortiz is penetrating the guard forcefully with his 1-2. Big looping right by Ciocan, buying himself a bit of forward momentum. Ciocan lands another right and Ortiz puts his arms up like a gas station wavy-arm noodle-man to mock him, pretending it hurt more than it did. Ortiz now comes forward again, jabbing high and throwing lefts downstairs. Ciocan retreats, albeit slowly and stubbornly, and is landing some grazing counters as Ortiz walks him down.

    10-9 Ortiz, close

    50-45 Ortiz

I told you guys before that Ortiz's head is a magnet for right hands. Alexander Pov literally couldn't miss with the right in their fight in the amateurs and neither can Hammer.

Yes, and that's how Odlanier Solis beat Ortiz in the amateurs, too.

    Round 6

Ciocan starts out the round posting up a pace away from Ortiz and trading face jabs and body uppercuts from opposite stances at mid-range. Suddenly a minute in the body shots from Ortiz start to seem to really accumulate on Ciocan, sending him into a retreating trot against the ropes. BIG left hands tossed into the flabby gut by Ortiz, each one making Ciocan wince hard. Negativity and time-wasting by Ciocan, a few light shoeshines as window-dressing to step toward Ortiz and then skate by him, seeking out shelter on the ropes.

    10-9 Ortiz

    60-54 Ortiz
