yeah my showtime to isn't working says stand by,as for the rod-engel fight greatly one sided,Rodrigues gave him quite a beating, engel landed about 4 good punches, man rodrigues brings his jab back low,he is really gonna have to work on that.
Great win and learning experience. Not sure how far he will go. Doesn't seem especially fast or powerful, but great funamentals and he showed a lot of heart and character against a tough game opponent who tested him. He passed the test. He seems very good at most of what he does, so maybe he doesn't need to be sensational in any one area. He did seem suscepitable to right hands and got caught with a few good left hooks, too. He seemed stunned a few times, but reacted well and kept his composure and that's the best thing I saw in his performance tonight. He was very poised. Will be interesting to see how he develops. Off topic, I wonder how good Donyil Livingston (celebrated amateur who is turning pro late) compares to someone like Rodriguez RIGHT NOW. Donyil is slated to make his pro debut May 6. He's one to keep an eye on even moreso in my view, but we shall see if his successful amateur career pans out in the pros. I, for one, am a believer in Donyil.
Heavy T-storms rolling right over the Pavilion. Should be better as the heavy stuff moves out shortly.
