I actually don't think that highly of his performance. He really needs to get a lot of work in on defense. His chin looks a bit suspect as well. He's a good fighter but I don't see him being elite.

 

Just ended. Waiting for the decision.

 

Worse case, George will get a draw in this fight. All three judges are from Illinois and he's the hometown boy. I had it 76-75 but the judges will be wider I think.

Yeah he got it. I think he deserved it (although I missed some parts of the fight), plus he had the knockdown.

 

Was it the first judge? I heard the 76-75, and 77-74 ones.

 

I've said this else where, and I've now seen George three time, twice live. He won't be an elite fighter. He didn't progress much from the last time I saw him fight Naugler in November. He really isn't improving and his needs a lot more road work. George was gassing bad in the last round and 1/2.

 

I missed parts of the fight as well so I took the commentators opinion that they split the first two rounds.

 

Main event is up.

 

Don't know, Johnson's record isn't that stunning either. Could be right, tho.

 

I was just told George broke his right hand in the second, thought it was a great fight though
