I really don't rate Gus Johnson. He's wank

 

I like Gus's enthusiasm but he can be a bit much some times. He's also getting a bit of a kicking over on BadLeftHook at the moment.

Bernstein is my favourite commentator since Reg Gutteridge died.


One thing I've noticed is that unlike the HBO team of years gone by, they actually seem to like each other.

100% agree with this thread. The team as a hole work very well IMO, and more often than not they are spot on

 

Always liked him he really gives it everything. His commentary the weekend was v.good. Listen to him for the jmm v juan Diaz fight he loses the plot. Good commentator on his own which isn't easy at all

 

Gus just seems a bit fake to me, all that over the top nonsense. He thinks he had to start screaming if something exciting happens. And there's need to do that at all - just look at Ian Darke.

And he always nuthugs Tarver.
