About 10 years ago it was HBO. Lampley was a great play by play man and added so much drama to a fight and could make decent fights seem great but now he's just a cheerleader and annoying. Larry was the same as he is now but just less bias and more coherent but was also funny from time to time. Roy was amazing with his insight now it seems like he's taken a few to many punches. Steward didnt always say "this is exactly how I thought the fight would go". Never liked Foreman but him and Larry going at it was always a good time. Showtime was always solid but now they have improved and have well surpassed HBO. Brenstein is very knowledgable and Albert is a great play by play man. Tarver is what Jones was a few years ago. Also Gus Johnson always gets me excited no matter what fight he calls and Steve Farhood is also a very knowledgable guy.
When you've got guys like Al Bernstein and Steve Farhood on Showtime, and HBO is countering with that unqualified hack Max Kellerman, it's pretty clear who has the better crew.
My sentiments exactly. After every round we have to listen to Lampley prattle on about compubox. He treats them like they were absolute gospel truth, and half the time they are ridiculously inaccurate.
