I think Rafael said in his chat that Gus Johnson would be calling the fight. I guess it's just a matter of who's joining him. I'd like to see Tarver and Bernstein as well.

I like Tarver, Bernstein, Merchant, RJJ, Steward (not great but good)

I dislike Harold Lederman, Jim Lampley, and Steve Farhood.

I also like Gus Johnson. Apparently this is his last fight with Showtime

It doesn't feel like a big fight without Lamps. He can't read the tale of the tape without getting choked up. Steward has found a special place in my heart after his "OH MY GAWD!" during Ortiz-Berto. Makes me laugh every time.

people might argue Showtime has the better commentators, but IMO Gus drags the whole team down with his constant stream of stupid comments/shouting

^ best thing I heard all thread, Gus is a headache to listen to and has trouble being objective when calling fights (ex. see Bradley-Campbell)

I don't see what people like about him at all. His screaming during the fights is a bit over the top and juvenile

Showtime and Al will be a snooze fest. These ****s lack nothing more then a robot sounding voice with no emotion. I'm not a lover of the guys at HBO but I would pay extra if they were commentating. Showtime will bore the **** out of us.
