What a waste of people's time and money.

There are no legitimate fights for Mayweather at welterweight other than Bradley or Pacquiao.

Khan will make for an exciting fight. A new style match up for Floyd. I'll look forward to it.

Of course Khan has little to no chance but Floyd will hype him up and the dumb US audience will pay their 49.95 like their life depended on it.

At least Amir "Chin" Khan is coming off a spectacular win over Diaz! That in itself deserves a Floyd fight, fits the prerequisites just perfect.

Shitty fight if the Kahn fight is next,if any WW it should be Miadana, newly crowned Champ after his upset destruction over a hyped Broner. I get the Kahn beat Miadana argument, but anything can happen in the ring and good fighters loss to lesser guys a lot. In a rematch who really thinks he beats Midana again.

Honestly if Mayweather was smart he'd force the Pacquiao fight into a purse bid and hope him, GB,, CBS & SHO have deeper pockets than TR & HBO. WBC Champ gets 75-25 or 65-35 if the opponent is high profile.
cut out the middle man an make out like bandits.

I would say Bradley as the #1 challenger at WW but he's on record not to long ago saying he knows as long as he's with TR the fight won't happen.

Guerrero was a leading candidate and had everyone grumbling about being Floyd's next fight, then they switched to Vic Ortiz following his big win over Berto, and doing so it made fans more grateful for the Ortiz fight where initial they may have picked Ortiz apart as an opponent for Floyd.

We have a similar scenario with Khan being the leading candidate and it not looking like it'll be a successful ppv, but with Madaina coming off a big win over Broner. Just like when they switched last second from a disappointing Guerrero fight to a Ortiz fight, switching last second to Maidana will create some upswing in the mood for this fight. Still a crap fight for Floyd.

This is bussines now a days and Maidana would sell X4 ppv in latino mexican community here in the US than a Khan fight.

You argue all u want, but at the end of the day $$ is all that matters for Showtime and Floyd.

Not this guy I have NEVER bought a Mayweather PPV farce I'm a boxing fan I want to see a fight between two worthy contenders, not a cowardly prima donna prancing around the ring like the sugar plum fairy running from a no hoper.
I wouldnt pay 5c to watch Punk Mayweather:rofl
