I can't see many other available, realistic, potential Floyd fights selling much better. I get the feeling this fight would be similar to the Froch/Groves fight in that it will be a more enjoyable spectacle than many expect.

Sadly, that is the only course of action that will ever lead to change.

even floyd is embarassed to admit he is fighting khan next, leaving it to his "team" instead to decide.

you know it is a **** fight when even the *****s couldnt even agree among themselves to support the fight.

Agreed, but who else is there? Keep in mind that Mayweather fights have to sell also.

Another testament to the greatness of Floyd. Seriously.

At age 36, he has to go outside of his division, where he's guaranteed to be the much smaller guy, to find "legit" competition?

He comes to the ring at 148 and people want so see him fight middleweights.

Nobody is asking him to go to 160, but if youre 2x, lineal, unified, reigning sww champ, its not much to expect some defenses, and not at a catchweight. Unless the standards are much lower for this lineal catch weight champ

Again, these fights have to draw. There is no one at 154 that brings any $ to the table. Boxing is a business first. You know that.

None of the smaller guys draw either, maybe marginally better. Though I bet people would be tuning in for Kirkland
