If you look at what Lemieux did against common opponents, it clearly looks like Lemieux > Quillin.
So no, that would be his #2 win probably.

by the way, long time no see sp550i :hi:

Quillin was a recognisable name with a belt, it would have been one of Golovkin's better wins but in reality Quillin was just another mediocre middleweight who just happened to have a belt in an era full of mediocre middleweights and one outstanding one.

Yeah, I think it's probably true that Jacobs' win over Quillin is better than any individual win on GGG's ledger. But GGG clearly has the better body of work and a more proven track record with greater consistency and dominance.

So stating that the win is better than any of GGG's is meaningless in itself without considering the bigger picture.

He'd certainly be in the top 3 prob be his second best win but would I pick him to beat David Lemieux? I don't think I would. I've never really seen him to do anything to justify the hype he's received over the years.

Jacobs' first round TKO of Quillin, a top 2 middleweight, is better than any single win on Bumlovkin's resume. Only a Bumlovstan would think differently. The FACT of the matter is, Bumlovkin has NEVER beaten a top 2 rated middleweight. NEVER. Jacobs just first round TKO'ed a top 2 middleweight. Jacobs is the true and legitimate #1 contender @ 160.

What are you laughing at, it's clearly true, just because GGG would make easy work out of both of them, and Quillin would never fight him doesn'T make it any less true.

It's a very solid win for Danny, and arguably true on paper but N'Dam, Guerrero and Rosado reckon that Lemieux is better than Quillin, and Macklin, Murray and Geale all have bigger single wins than Danny or kid C.

Still, it's not an unreasonable position to take although the balance of their respective bodies of work is massively in GGGs favour.
