That statement is absolute Bull ****. Complete US centric tosh.

GGG is avoided- this is why his resume is not jaw dropping...If no one wants to fight you, what are you meant to do?

No need for revisionist history. Everyone was saying that Quillin was the guy for GGG to beat for that signature win at MW.........

    Before last night, that is.

Agree with the 2nd statement. It doesn't mean that the SHO crew's isn't also true. It also doesn't mean that GGG's overall resume isn't better. It is.

You can't expect anything else from them. HBO does the same. Each side hypes their fighters more than the other side's fighters. That's just how it is most of the time.

Jacobs beat a guy who wouldn't even get in the ring with GGG, unless he was getting Mayweather Sweepstakes money. I think this was a victory for both fighters. lol

I hope GGG vs Jacobs happens at some point, with minimal B.S.

I think Quillin/Murray is a toss up. I'd like Murray a bit better. I like Lemieux, but he's a limited slugger. It's not hard to envision him being outboxed by a guy like Quillin who can also bang. Lemieux was a good win, but not on the level of a win that one vs Quillin would have been for GGG. And Lemiuex has been beaten, and destroyed, by journeymen and gatekeepers. Hardly signature win material.

Quillin is a slightly better boxer, I will admit that but his boxing abiliyt is not enough to deal with Lemieux's style. GGG made him look really easy to outbox, but it doesn't mean every guy who has some boxing ability is going to be able to do the same.

Lemieux is great against guys who can't hurt him. Quillin can hurt him.

Not to agree/disagree with the OP, but if people avoid you, it affects your resume.

No one at 160 would even give GGG a test that's how good he is for everyone else they can be competaive but GGG is in a league of his own

Ward would of been the only guy to make it interesting

Quillin was extremely overrated. His only decent win was N'Dam, and he struggled with Rosado.

So exactly when was either Murray or Lemieux rated higher than Quillin?
