    Kondo did a little better that round, landing several left hooks to the body of Lipinets, but Sergey was still the sharper more accurate puncher.

    Nobody at 140 would've messed with Bud IMO, but I still would've loved to see him defend all 4 titles 2-3 times, and Lipinets would've fit fine as one of those opponents.

    Seems like a shame to me to collect all 4 straps just to unload them immediately.

    Good fight so far. Kondo making the most of his opportunity, and though he's not winning the rounds (at least not on my card), he's been quite a bit more competitive than I expected him to be at this point.

    It makes sense. He'd be fighting unworthy mandatory after unworthy mandatory, coughing up 25% of the split to guys that will not generate enough to cover that difference. Belts mean very little.
