Showtime: Dillian Whyte vs. Dereck Chisora II & Cristofer Rosales vs. Charlie Edwards RBR.

As if it's going to be anything other than Joshua bouncing Whyte's head around the ring again. Can't wait for the YT vids now of Hearn talking it up. That KO saved Matchroom's grip on the HW division, Hearn should be eternally grateful to Whyte.

 

Could happen, Whyte is also very sneaky in landing it at times.

The headlock resulted because Whyte was again trying to lean on Chisora.

He was attempting to use the same bully boy tactics that he used against Parker.

 

And the ref called break. Doing something illegal just because your opponent is skirting the line does not make it right

 

I thought the low blow was harsh but the point was taken for how persistent the low blows were

The elbow I thought was blatant and warranted the point, both guys were up to dirty tricks but the elbow was a bit much

 

Hearn wins tonight, but he's still hated by Brits.

 

I chisora was leading on 1 think

 

Punching on the break is also illegal. People are angry because Matchroom fighters never get penalised for fouls.

 

Horrible performance by the Ref, sure you can justify the points deductions if you want to recite the rule book but it wasn’t a fight that needed over officiating, just let the two get at each other.

That said, those moaning that the 2pt deduction forced Chisora hand and made him take risks are just wrong. It didn’t affect Chisoras style who was coming forward throwing power shots from the first second of the fight. Also he was still up on 2 cards so didn’t need to go looking for a KO.

Mate I honestly deliberately have to hold back from eviscerating him, it's not fair it's like entering a chess competition with a special needs kid. He's a complete tool and not fit to be on the internet unsupervised.

 

The ref was far too heavily involved in that fight for my liking.

No-one tuned in to see him.

His interventions swung the momentum of the fight.

Based on that, Whyte would get murdered by Joshua and Wilder and clowned by Fury.

 

It wasn't that low, nobody went down and Dillian didn't complain. Ref was jumping in too much, wrong guy for this bout.

Congrats to Whyte though, he fought in a disciplined way.
