If you want to chastise and question the 'professionalism' of Broner for skipping out of the in-ring post fight interview, then I'm all good with that.

However, don't blow smoke up our arse about Miguel Cotto's 'warrior pride' when he immediately skated to the locker room after losing to Trout. And this was AFTER he did same thing in the Mayweather fight.

    Stay consistent. That is all.

Props to Maidana and Thurman for bossing up tonight.

Cotto is in a class above Broner. He can get away with those things.

I think just like the crowd, who threw soda's and cups when he walked out of the Arena... that Broners antics annoyed people... even the broadcasters. Everyone in the arena, on this board, and others were waiting for Broners problem to be solved....

It's a humbling experience for the young kid... When you walk into the ring rapping, singing, hump a guy lol while fighting.... and then walk out, it's different than Cotto who barely talks... to walk out, because even when he does, he repeats the same thing....

Cotto doesn't talk shiz to his opponents, Trash talkers should face the consequences when they lose. That's even more enjoyable than seeing them lose.

That's irrelevant. If the criticism is that the professional thing to do is win or lose, to do your interview, then as a broadcast team don't give Cotto a pass either.

Call them all out for it, not just the ones you want to see get their comeuppance.

The context is different obviously. Maybe you are too blind to see the difference?

a lot of fighters have walked out the ring without giving interviews, they blew that out of proportion.

I agree with the OP. Cotto has been a diva in this respect. He cried like a ***** and left the ring against Mayweather and Trout. Of course when he beat Delvin he had no problem staying and referring to himself in 3rd person, "Miguel Cotto this ... Miguel Cotto that ..." It's lack of sportsmanship.

Cotto walked out of the ring but if I'm not mistaken he did give an interview from the dress room

I think he did for Trout, not sure about Mayweather.

Still, Showtime kept the camera on Cotto and treated him leaving the ring like a dayum victory lap. Jim Gray dayum near had to molest him as he was leaving to ask his a question.

Like I said, just be consistent with the criticism.
