    I doubt it. Garcia is a very good counter puncher and likes to punch with you so if Spence was getting tagged by clean counters by Peterson, it would be hard not to see Garcia having better success in close.

    Porter is a different style all together and poses many different problems for Spence like his in your face mauling style which Spence has yet to face. Both fights would be very difficult for Spence and no givens by any means. I think Spence would win those fights but they would be no mismatches by any stretch.

    To underestimate Thurman would be foolish thinking.

    Refer to my original response to you. And let me translate yours for you, I don't like Fighter A, so therefore I refuse to recognize that he's the most skilled guy at Welterweight, I love Fighter B dearly, I refuse to recognize any of his flaws and see him as the second coming of the messiah himself.

    I find your fairly open hate for Spence amusing. That you would respond with eat a beef when I point out you wouldn't spurt out such hating if he was an Eastern Euro, supports my point.

    That might actually make sense if Spence injured the SAME eye Golov injured. But he damaged Brook's OTHER eye, and was in total control from the 7th round on... so "scraped by" he did not. He beat up Brook and outclassed him.

    More like Bore With A Smile, the man's personality is about as exciting as watching flies swarming a pile of horse manure combined with watching paint dry. Now Porter and Thurman, they have likable easy to root for sterling personalities.:deal: As far as Horn-Crawford, who knows, it could go either way, we haven't seen Bud up at WW yet have we? Horn and yes pence might just walk him down and mug him.

    Why is Shawn Porter being mentioned so much here? Porter's a second rate fighter. The thought of him beating Spence is comical.

    It's a shame you don't actually know many of the facts, such as the fact that the fracture around the eye that Brook suffered....actually weakens the other.

    And you're correct, Spence took control from 7 onwards.....only after Brook's weight took its toll.

    No. I fully expect Thurman to attempt to utilize the ring... but Spence does an excellent job of cutting the ring, and Thurman ain't exactly Ray Leonard when it comes to footwork and stamina.
