Cuellar is throwing double jabs on the way in and then going wild with left hands and right hooks. Tamayo is backing away carefully, making sure he isn't lingering in range. Tamayo chops down with a few rights on the back of Cuellar's head. Cuellar is jabbing and landing a few solid left crosses on the temple of Tamayo.

Round 3

Cuellar is doubling the right jab as set-up and banging away with the left cross up top, throwing it from behind his back. Tamayo is dancing away but still getting grazed. Cuellar is content to waste home run bombs on the way in, missing well over 90%, seeming to have the gas tank to get away with it. A bit of sharper work by Cuellar with the double jab on the outside when Tamayo spaces himself out, pumping his own right jab.

Round 4

Cuellar is bombing away at a steady clip. Tamayo is staying cute, bouncing on the outside, popping a few jabs. Cuellar ducks and wings up a right hook backing Tamayo up. He lands behind the ear and then whips a left hand onto the backside. Another left behind the head as Tamayo is doubling over. Tamayo is down, equilibrium gone. Tamayo is up, trying to box on the outside but driven into a corner. Cuellar is opening up on him. Down on his knee. Saved by the bell.

The doctor checked out Tamayo before the 5th started and muttered to Mark Nelson something about "we'll do it as a setup for now" before letting him start the action.

Round 5

Cuellar is forcing Tamayo into the ropes and winging up right hooks. Tamayo throws a few back, in survival mode, galloping away from the corner when he can. Cuellar is landing huge body shots but unable to pin Tamayo down and land more than one in a row. Cuellar is ripping body shots. Tamayo sits on the bottom rope, trying to sink back away from the punishment. Huge left and right hooks downstairs by Cuellar, like a 1980's swivel-action toy.

Cuellar is sloppy as hell but effective.
