Nelson punches with him, 1-2, going wide on either side. Jackson steps forward and jabs. Right hand by Jackson. Counter looping right on the chest by Nelson.

Jackson is controlling Nelson with the jab, keeping him on the ropes with it. Jackson is looking for the right hand, holding it ready, coiled up and bent at his side. He lands it as Nelson brushes the ropes with his back. Nelson is back in his submissive role, offense petering out but for a few jabs.

Jackson is jabbing, circling, feinting, and re-spacing himself on the outside - workmanlike, unhurried, with a flat expression and steady breathing. Nelson is doing a lot of ducking, bowing, stepping halfway in tentatively and then hitting the brakes. He stumbles into a big right hand and is splattered onto the canvas. He beats the count but is saved by the bell.
