Round 1

Williams is jabbing high and placing rights on the body, cornering Freeman. Giving up his advantage in height, Freeman dives in low with single rights and double jabs on the body. Williams is jabbing, leaning back, putting up goalposts and swerving to either side, all in a sinuous dance-like rhythm, nothing jerky, not wasting breath. Williams is cautious, jabbing under the wrists of Freeman, lancing into his sternum. 1-2 by Williams. Freeman ties up before Williams can unload on him on the ropes. Williams is using lateral movement as Freeman steps forward without punching. Lazy jab by Freeman on the outside. Freeman lurches in with a full-body feint and snaps back upright.

I don't know that he would've been especially pleased about what occurred had the fight actually gone through, either, but hey.. :yep

Nothing against Yakubu; he is a good honest FNF level fighter, but there's just a gulf in class between him and Peterson. (even though Anthony is only half as good as Lamont)

 

If this goes the distance, I officially hate J-Rock and want to see him KTFO.

Round 2

Williams is jabbing his way in, careful. Williams throws his right and stabs Freeman in the bicep and upper pectoral with it as Freeman turns. A few jabs by Freeman, standing up tall, playing keep-away with small shuffling steps. Williams is moving in and out, mostly pecking with the jab.

Round 3

Williams is putting his punches together a bit more, throwing rights in behind the jab whether or not Freeman catches or dodges it. Williams starts to round off the combos with a lunging left hook, which lands on Freeman's jaw and turns his face involuntarily. Williams is landing at will but not jumping in after landing twos and threes.

Everything about Williams is what you want to see in a prospect except the fact that he won't just GO FOR IT. Just see what is standing in front of him and know what needs to (and can, without any risk) be done.

It would be one thing if Freeman had power he needed to respect (or speed, or anything), but he doesn't.

His body language is saying "bro, knock me out cold. :hi:"

...and J-Rock won't. Is he a goddamn Buddhist or something?

 

Round 4

Williams is jabbing up from the hip, walking Freeman down, leaning into a half-crouch and peering up at him. Williams is using right hand feints to get Freeman panicking and rushing to own right, then looking to slam the door in his face with a left hook. Williams is throwing crisp pot shots at mid-range, center of gravity low, balance nice. Williams is doubling the quick sharp jab, backing Freeman up repeatedly into the ropes but letting him escape time after time.
