    From Steve Kim :

Pretty disappointed Rios-Soto isn't coming off as planned, but Acosta-Rios is an interesting match up.

Acosta is a good counter-puncher, but he has neither the speed or the power to give Rios trouble, and the win is only going to make Rios even cockier...

I was looking forward to Soto-Rios. How about Soto-Demarco.

That way you showcase them both and build up the fight.

I still say, lets get Rios/Malignaggi on. Two smack talkers + Paulie can take a punch = a good fight.

Or hell, lets see Rios/Matthysse, and give the Argentinian a good opportunity after being robbed by Flab Zudah.

Acosta looked unimpressive in all of his last three wins.

Once Rios starts dominating, Acosta may degenerate into the same tactic as Anthony Peterson and start hitting lowblows while he waits to get KTFO by Rios.

Again, Rios is over rated, and is just waiting to be exposed by a good A or B class fighter, but Acosta will not give him any trouble.

    Rios is Acosta's mandatory.

Technically, they shouldve been fighting this or next month, cause Rios beat Peterson in Sept for the WBA #1 spot, but Rios fought Omri L. in November, while Acosta fought, a couple weeks ago, a BUM named Armando Cordova that had about 44 losses.

yeah, i know Rios is overrated, but I also think Rios will beat Acosta and become World Champion in doing so, get worldwide recognition, then he can fight Marquez and/or Soto late next year.

I think Acosta might surprise some people in this one. He's not going to fight dumb like Peterson, and as a counterpuncher, he'll just lay back, let Rios keep coming forward and keep cracking that wide open chin. I wouldn't be surprised at all if Acosta takes this.

Please be honest, do you really believe Rios has a chance surviving against Marquez?

Marquez will make a fruit salad out of Rios. :bbb

God...it would be great if it's Demarco versus a hot you prospect from my hometown Adrien Broner.

If DeMarco is matched tough then this is a decent card. I was looking foward to Soto-Rios but this is still a good fight. Arum was talking of matching the Soto-Rios and Acosta-Antillon winners against each other. Wonder what his plans are now, does he rematch Soto-Antillon or still make Soto-Rios if Rios beats Acosta which isn't a given. All are good fights.
