Showtime February 26 : Brandon Rios vs. Miguel Acosta, Antonio DeMarco vs. TBA

This would be a fight that I really liked if it wasn't for the talk of Soto-Rios and Vasquez-Antillon on the same card. With all due respect Acosta-Rios and DeMarco-Sanchez just isn't as good. I will look at this positively as half full rather then half empty. Hopefully this is just a first round of sorts with the winners being more proven and then making the next round bigger and more important fights. Hopefully Soto takes on a real challenge in his next fight and Vasquez is kept busy.

 

Rios vs. Acosta is a great fight on paper. Acosta is a bit underrated I think on here. he has a good chance to take Rios out.

 

But Acosta is the present and will delay Rios' celebration for the future. I think this is better than Soto-Rios though the real **** would be Acosta-Soto.

 

I dont know about you guys but Acosta is a stylistic nightmare for someone like Rios.

I want to see Rios/Soto or Rios/Gesta.

 

You might have a point...I remember seeing Acosta on one of the Latin Fury cards. Peterson has the same ability (maybe even better) but fought the dumbest fight...EVER!!! Acosta knows who and what kind of fighter he is. This has all the makings of a really good fight: Boxer vs Puncher....UPSET IN THE MAKING.

 

I have a feeling Acosta will outbox or take out Rios... Acosta is heavily underrated...

 

No way will Soto fight the winner of Rios vs Acosta. Rios will ko Soto while Acosta will just embarrass Soto so bad Soto might consider retired.

 

Brandon Rivers will get his ass whooped by Acosta. :deal
