some people are saying that showtime just copied 24/7 from HBO. This might be true, but I think the Showtime programming was a little better. More realism, less slow motion bull****, less them music coupled with cartoon imagery, and less reality tv stylings/silly stunts. not that I don't like 24/7. I count the days until the next one airs. One good turn deserves another, and I think HBO should steal an idea from Showtime, namely the Super Six Tournament itself. They should do a tourney for the welterweights (including Floyd)-most of them have already fought on HBO or HBO ppv already, and everyone in the boxing world, even the mainstream, would go nuts for it. The Super Six is awesome but it wouldn't hold a candle to a welterweight tourney in terms of mainstream name recognition.
For me it was a lot more exciting than 24/7 (although a little too short) 24/7 without the Mayweather family is pretty boring. I can remember almost falling asleep, when oscar tried over and over again to portray himself as the best husband/ father alive. And the end of the day I enjoy both, though.
I prefer HBO's 24/7. There's a reason why it's won so many awards. FightCamp was pretty good as it seemed to have it's own style, but it was still a few levels below 24/7. It's more on par with with old Countdowns I say
I prefer fight camp 360 by a mile but 24/7 is good too but watching Floyd show that he feeds the hungry I felt was pretty much just for the cameras, he probably does do that every so often but why show it now when you could of shown that a very long time ago if he has been doing that all along.
I like them both. They both provide different details. The Fight Camp (at least after one episode) did a good job of getting all the details about the Tourney itself. While the 24/7 is more of what the fighters training camp and the details of who they are and everything else in between.
