Cruz outworking Malinga with the cleaner punches. Two hard rights from Santa cruz. Heavy looping right from Cruz . Right to the body of Malinga. Lunging left hook to the head of Malinga.

    Better boxer, and seems better defensively. Reminds me a bit of Salvador Sanchez, though he throws a bit more per round, and isn't as precise.

Big hook around to the side of the head by Santa Cruz. Uppercuts to the body by Santa Cruz. Mulinga is landing his own uppercuts downstairs. Santa Cruz lands a right uppercut to the face, splitting Mulinga's guard, then a left hook to the side. Right hand down the middle, left hook to the body. Right to the body, just above the cup, borderline low. Mulinga throws a 1-2 and Santa Cruz steps back out of the way and lands a sharp counter jab. Uppercuts by Mulinga wading forward, missing in slow motion. Mulinga covers up but Santa Cruz nails him with a left upper-hook to the jaw. Combos out of the tight guard by Santa Cruz. Double uppercut to the face, left hook to the body by Santa Cruz. Mulinga hurt! Mulinga is dropping his right elbow low to protect against those left hooks to the body, pulling himself over toward that side. Santa Cruz lands jabs to the face. Mulinga keeps pushing in trying to land short uppercuts.
