    Also the Frampton fight.

Of course Showtime PPV would be the carrier for Wilder-Fury.

    Hmmm.

Yes. This is consistent with the Fury Wilder fight being legit. Of course Showtime would try to get more exposure for Fury in the lead up to a megafight

i can see problems with showing it

out of sight is out of mind for casual boxing fan

if they see fury come in fat v pianetta and perform like the clown of the saferi fight then a fight v wilder will be sullied

tyson boils down more and actaully fights seriously v pianetta then that will set up a wilder fight nicelly for showtime

trouble for showtime/trouble for the fans/trouble for fury himself / is we dont know what kind of fury will turn up

Fury: Klitschko Didn't Look Much Better With Me Than Seferi

“People say this is a big step up from Seferi and they can say what they want, but Seferi went the full distance with a current world heavyweight champion, Manuel Charr.

“He looked terrible against me, but that has happened to so many people. Wladimir Klitschko didn’t look much better against me than Seferi to be honest.”

Fury's biggest problem with the US market is his style of fighting. It's effective but it's also terribly boring and fails to impress. Plus his zany, gypsy act doesn't even register a blip in the US. Our President makes his sleepy sideshow look like a one hour documentary on knitting.

Hopefully that doesn't take up any budget and block quite literally any other fight for the rest of the year which features a world class fighter. If they got it on the dirt cheap and/or the Wilder fight truly will be next, then that would change the previous statement a little bit.

    No surprises here.

Showtime is a key player in putting Fury and Wilder together.
