To April 24th, just one week further back because they don't want to compete with HBO's card of Bute/Miranda Pavlik/Martinez.

    Thank you Showtime. :good

These boxing promoters are such scum-bags it's unbelieveable.

Goosen and DiBella both booked their own fighters to work on HBO's "**** Showtime" card on April 17.

I know they work for their fighters, not the networks,,, but still. It's a low-life move imo.

This situation is pure gamesmanship by HBO. Right or wrong, I'm guessing they'll keep at it, and make the tourney look like nothing more than a series of eliminators for the right to fight the Pavlik/Bute winner.

I figured that would happen since Strikeforce on CBS in April 17th and they promote Showtime Boxing and vice versa. Now I dont need 3 events to follow on that night just 2 ill watch one and record the other. Then the 24th ill do the same since HBO has a card for Adamek-Arreola.

I spoke to fat Mick at the York Hall on Friday. #HE confirmed to me with a big ****ing grin that the Froch fight was on the 24th in Herning. I was like 'well do you wanna give me back the bullseye I laid out for the flight on the 17th?' Wanker!!!

Shouted down to fat Mick from the balcony at the york hall on Friday. I still hadn't heard anything official about when and where for the Froch fight.

I said 'Mick when we gonna hear about the Froch fight?'

He replied with a great big f-ing grin '24th Herning, see you there!'

He turned away before I could get in, 'hows about you skip lunch tommorow and give me back the £50 I laid out on my flight for the 17th!'

Honestly was well annoyed, this ****-up is gonna cost them a lot of the travelling support.

And what gets me is if they knew this then why hadn't they updated there own bloody site!

    Poor Mick. Very very poor!!!

Would be good news (well for those of us who haven't already spunked out on tickets and travel for the 17th), except now it's clashing with Arreola-Adamek. Why do HBO and Showtime always insist on going head to head? It's so annoying and is not great thing for the sport or the fans.

HBO has cards April 10th, 17th, 24th, May 1st, May 8th, May 15th. Head to head dates are bound to happen at some point.
