SHOWTIME Is presenting Bute as a dangerous predator

to add more validity to Bute inside the Boxer's world... for the first time ive seen Ward some what intimidated and shy about an expected fight - Bute. In the interview, he goes on to say that Bute needs to fight the same caliber fighters he had fought, before Bute can fight him. Cuz he needs to prove himself. HUH? Doesnt sound like very confident words from a consistently fearless man. And that he wants a rematch with Kessler first, to expel all doubts about his win.

Yes, this can be defensible. But everyone was anticipating Bute to be lined up with the S6 champion for their next fight, including Showtime i believe. I get a strong feeling that Ward wants to chump out and duck Bute for a round, to see how he competes with the A caliber competition. Glenn Johnson should be good enough, though over the hill. Still doesnt translate into confidence....
