I think many are upset they did not take my 100% accurate prediction on page 1 to the bank.

    Were either of these exciting?

I didn't get to record them because the slot on Showtime was blocked off as "TBA" on my cable guide. :verysad

I got the Fox card on DVR and watched it at like 2am when I got home last night, but it wasn't great.

it was fun seeing e-rod and ortiz getting knocked out. since a huge handful of people were picking rodriquez to beat stevenson easily (blind hate)

Showtime card was awful. Degale won but looked bad and plain late.
Jack was up 6-3 and lost the last 3 rounds.

Didn't watch DeGale-Medina, but Bute-Jack was pretty good.

E-Rod getting pounced out was a mild surprise (though we knew Williams had pop) but it wasn't a "pretty" KO. The whole fight was kind of sloppy for my tastes...and it doesn't raise Williams' stock much. Even midway into the 2nd round it felt like Rodríguez was soaking up all those clean head-snapping punches and not too affected by them and seemed he might outlast Williams in a battle of attention since he was investing body punches.

(ditto Lara vs. Montiel, good statement KO win for the kid but kind of messy. Kochulito was getting hurt by even deflected blows, just came in with no legs)

...but yeah, Berto's shot was pretty sweet and seeing Ortiz again knocked silly and made to quit put a smile on my face.

Personally Rados who didn't give Bute 10 and 11 IMO has the most biased scorecard. Those were the two most clear Bute rounds of the fight.

DeGale in losing late rounds shocker. He didn't look that great last night but he got the job done. Should he be doing better against someone like Medina? Yeah, absolutely. He sat on the ropes far too much and has too many gaps of inactivity.

Quite enjoyed Jack-Bute. Thought Jack nicked it but I don't think a draw is THAT bad a decision. Jack keeps his belt and Bute picks up a little respect for his troubles. I don't think either fight was an overtly strong advert for 168 as a division mind you

Mauricio Sulaiman, president of WBC statement that will open an investigation on this, doing so openly a$$kissing TMT Promotions was embarassing. It was a close fight and did not demant such comments.

Since everyone is up in arms with the judges scores, I went back and rewatched and rescored the fight, still got the same score, a draw, but I flipped a round. I gave Jack the first, but it was still very close, and I gave Bute the 8th this time, and it was damn close. Bute's defense was a lot better than a lot of you seem to think it was, he was catching a ton of shots on the arms, and slipping many others, Compubox was way off as usual.

    Here's my new scores.

Round 1 Jack 10-9 Very Close
    Round 2 Jack 10-9 Close
    Round 3 Jack 10-9 Close
    Round 4 Bute 10-9 Close
    Round 5 Jack 10-9 Close
    Round 6 Bute 10-9 Close
    Round 7 Jack 10-9 Close
Round 8 Bute 10-9 Very Close
Round 9 Jack 10-9 Very Close
    Round 10 Bute 10-9
    Round 11 Bute 10-9
    Round 12 Bute 10-9

    114-114 Draw

He's a ****ing corrupt sleazeball piece of ****, ironically they had nothing to say about the two very off way too wide 9-3 and 8-4 scores in the first Mayweather-Maidana match.
