    Charlo is falling into a very lackadaisical pattern, lulled into a mid-ring sparring match with Adams. Lots of nimble in-and-out daredevil work by Adams, bending his knees to change levels, but he gets clipped with a quick jab and then hooker-cut by the ropes and has to hold on, then circle madly away. Charlo advancing, missing 1-2s. Uppercuts whipped into the ribs by Charlo as they fall into clinches. Adams with a stiff jab leading a sortie covering up another grab attempt. Charlo winging shots but Adams is slipping them all on the inside, cleaving to him like flypaper.

    Adams, in terms of defense is doing a pretty good job of being all the way in, or all the way out. In terms of offense, he doesn't appear to be offering enough to win these rounds, though.
