Showtime: Jermell Charlo vs. Erickson Lubin & Jarrett Hurd vs. Austin Trout RBR.

It's a gameplan that always fails in the end. Just need a harder hitting opponent.

 

Hurd can be outboxed and trout made it look very easy. Lara is a master boxer. Do the math. I dont even mind Hurd i probably look like im coming off as a Hurd basher i like the guy, brings an all action fight, i just think Lara boxes his head off

 

Guys, Lara is getting old. He's aging and his physique is softening - smooth as a soda can these days.

Not sure he can hang with any of these young champs. Honestly think this Gausha fight could be telling.

 

Lubin is trash. The hype is just that, he's going to get the Jrock treatment early! No more than 6 rounds.

 

Who the hell was in Lubins dressing room? Had dreadlocks, was watching pad work and he was pulling strange faces and his head was all over the place

The Cuban is too much for Hurd and I like Hurd as well I’m just being realistic. If you get outboxed by trout your probably going to get out boxed by Lara who doesn’t gas?!

I agree Jermell isn't Jermall, but Lubin is a little punk hypejob. Have you seen his interviews coming up to this fight? For someone who has done so little he has a big opinion on legends like Cotto and a world champion like Spence.

 

Im going with Lubin, I don't really rate this Charlo.

 

I agree he can be out boxed, but you said Lara would beat him easy. I don't see that.

 

Good fight and a good stoppage as well, Trout had nothing left.

Trout has been a top jr middleweight for a number of years and even with him coming off a long layoff this is a good win for Hurd who is actually on a decent run at the moment.

Hurd obviously has poor footwork and clumsy technique all around. On the other hand he's a big, young, strong, awkward pressure fighter who can give a lot of top guys a tough fight. I'd like to see him with the winner of Charlo-Lubinson.
